FAQs

No, you can just walk-in. Appointments are only required for activities, like cat yoga and birthday parties. Our play room can house all our cats and up to ten people at once. Cat play time is $15 for thirty minutes and $25 for an hour per person. Children 3 and younger are free. Come join us for purrs and tail twitches.

We want our adoptable cats to stay healthy, so we ask you to remove your shoes and put on clean socks to help keep their home clean. If you don’t have socks, we have some fun feline socks for purchase.
-
Absolutely! We send adopted animals all over the U.S., all year long. Just let us know where you live and when you will be back from your vacation and they will help get your new furry companion there. Adoptions to the west coast are $350 and beyond are $400. This includes crate, rabies vaccine and certificate, health certificate, and airport drop off!

It’s hard being a cat owner. There are dog parks, but no cat parks. Though we sympathize we are not able to host owned cats. Introducing new cats to each other requires time and supervision. We do all of our introductions on the days TropiCats is closed, so cats do not feel overwhelmed and have time to have proper meet and greets.

If you have a cat that needs our help, reach out! There may be something we can do! Our partnerships with rescues and clinics on islands allows us to help cats in difficult situations and find better outcomes for them!
-
The welfare of the cats is our top priority. The owners of TropiCats have worked in animal welfare for many years and have implemented animal welfare best practices to ensure the cats are healthy and happy.
This is one of the main reasons why there are no more than thirteen cats housed at TropiCats and no more than ten people in the playroom at once.

Have no fear. We know you are a cat lover, but we will take care of cleaning the litter boxes.
Toxoplasmosis is spread through the feces of an infected cat. In order to become infected the cats would have needed to eat infected prey. Since the cats at TropiCats are served commercially prepared food, they are not infected.
